I called this place yesterday, because I received a referral. When I called, I was informed that the price for an X-ray was $250-280, then 3 something. The lady I spoke with was passive-aggressive, and I asked, " Are you a tech? “ because you were acting like you were the doctor. She said, " No, I'm the office manager, I'm over the techs. She stated this with her full chest, almost as if she had won a prize. She stated she was just trying to help. She tried to hide that under the guise of helping me, but she was being rude because I repeatedly told her what I wanted. At one point in the conversation, I told her she wanted to be a doctor because she was trying to diagnose my dog over the phone, saying he'd need medication etc. I said his doctor said he doesn't, and she was somewhat surprised. I asked her how much the visit was, mind you, she did tell me earlier, but I had forgotten. She had no problem reminding me with an attitude, she said” I told you why did you write it down “Anyways, she asked me to send his document over which I did receive a call a few hours later I received a call that it would be $425. Also, she made it a whole thing about disclosing prices over the phone, like it was a secret or something. This lady seems like she failed at life and wanted to be a vet, but for whatever reason, settled for office manager, and tries to live by curiously through the actual doctor that she is not. Oh, and she made sure to tell me they're not LOW COST! She said it repeatedly throughout the call because she's the “office manager, “ haha, not! Anyways stay away! I found a reasonable vet who is helpful, friendly, and cost-effective because everyone is trying to save money especially in this economy. #DO BETTER! Be a better human lady!!!!!
Although Brenner is not our normal animal hospital, they helped our family in our time of need. Our senior cat was having difficulty breathing and was slowing down, but our regular vet was out of town at a conference. We were able to get a same day appointment with Dr. Auclair and she was incredibly helpful with us as we navigated putting our cat to sleep. She communicated clearly and compassionately, was reasonable with the examination necessary (an x-ray which revealed serious medical issues that we were not aware of), and was flexible with accommodating our boy and us while administering the medicine. The veterinary technicians were outstanding as well, handling the challenging situation with our cat expertly. The techs, including Chris, were super understanding and supportive after our cat passed. Everyone was compassionate and tactful, even Krystal who has the unfun job of handling billing before the putting-down process, sharing us her own passed kitty’s ashes she keeps nearby at her desk. A week later, we have received his ashes back in the most thoughtful way. Cannot recommend this staff enough. They were amazing, thank you again so much for your help in helping our precious cat cross the rainbow bridge.
