Outstanding, exceptional, and so much more! Your care far exceeded our expectations. The team, led by Dr. Courtney Nacke‑Horney and Dr. Hayley Descoteaux, was thorough and compassionate in explaining Snow’s condition. The facilities — and the overall atmosphere of the hospital — were welcoming and never intimidating. We thank you all so much for making this time less stressful as we care for Snow during her transition. God bless you.

Emergency vet care can be a really terrifying and expensive experience, but the staff at Veg made it a little more comfortable. They were considerate and transparent with costs and care, everyone from start to finish was incredibly kind and attentive. It was a busy night, so the wait times were a little long (but that's to be expected with any kind of Emergency medicine, they triage based on severity of need and if the need is life-threatening), but during that time my cat, Willow, and I were comfortable and checked in on by different staff members. Id definitely recommend this vet for future emergency needs.

Best Er so far I have seen for animals, made sure my baby stayed alive, even though I wasn't sure myself if I could afford to keep him alive, rest assured me that it was about life first. Made me, my daughter reassured and kept my turtle comfortable through his pain.

Although yesterday was a very sad day for my family and I as we had to say goodbye to our cat Penny, we could not have been more pleased with our experience at VEG ER Pikesville. Penny was an older gal, and we brought her in because she had not been eating and was having litter box issues. We were swiftly checked-in and the doctor suggested a series of blood tests, x-ray, etc. that all seemed reasonable. The doctor called me to walk through the unfortunate results...he was very straightforward but also extremely compassionate as he delivered the unfortunate news. The staff gave us ample time to privately say our goodbyes to Penny. We were especially appreciative of the entire staff's empathy and care for both Penny and ourselves throughout the entire process. I hope the owners are able to share this feedback with them and let them know how much Penny's dad appreciated them going the extra mile to make us feel supported and to make Penny's final moments as comfortable as possible.
