"This is what happens when people try to keep old dogs alive." That's what CanineClubhouse groomer Jay said about grooming my 17-year old poodle mix when I was not happy with his most recent cut. No offer to make it better. No credit for a redo. Just defensiveness. My dog requires mild sedation for grooming and Jay has groomed him before with no such meanness or sloppiness. I selected Canine Clubhouse for grooming because it is affiliated with Kenwood Animal Hospital where we receive topnotch veterinary care. Kenwood for veterinary, yes. For grooming, no.

The doctors and staff at Kenwood Animal Hospital are highly professional and clearly dedicated to the pets in their care. They have treated all of our pets for many years, and we’ve never had a complaint or concern. In our most recent visit, Dr. Dougherty took the time to accurately diagnose the problem our pet was experiencing and explain it to us in clear, understandable terms. She gave clear instructions for followup care to reduce the likelihood of a recurrence. Kenwood is easy to contact and schedule appointments, and they’re very effective in sending reminders by phone, text, and email. We enthusiastically recommend Kenwood Animal Hospital for high quality, compassionate pet care.
